Job Description

Salary: $85,800 - 115,416 per year Requirements:

  • We need at least 3 years of working knowledge in software development languages and MVC frameworks.
  • We need at least 3 years of experience with HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • We need demonstrable knowledge of platform authentication patterns such as SAML, SSO, and OAuth.
  • We need strong understanding of platform security capabilities such as TLS and SSL.
  • We need experience with scripting languages and data management, including SOQL, SOSL, T-SQL, Azure cloud services, database architecture, ETLs, data profiling, data modeling, and data conversion, especially into Salesforce.
  • We need at least 1 year using Microsoft or Salesforce reporting tools.
  • We need knowledge of data integration tools and hands-on experience integrating solutions with different business systems.
  • We need experience building and maintaining complex web applications, including version control, automated testing, and continuous integration.
  • We need familiarity with comparing open-source software and vendor-developed solutions.
  • We need experience maintaining RESTful web services, such as Apex, SQL, SOQL, Python, or other Azure-compatible languages for Web APIs.
  • We need the ability to analyze business requirements and design, develop, test, normalize, install, and implement agency datasets.
  • We need experience in data mining and use of data definition language.
  • We need skill in evaluating software quality and testing software capabilities.
  • We need experience using evaluation tools to validate APIs, performance, and ADA accessibility.
  • We need the ability to estimate work for new software solutions, replacements, and upgrades.
  • We need knowledge of COTS, SaaS, and PaaS solutions and the ability to define integration and security requirements for RFIs and RFPs.
  • We need experience working in an environment where IT security best practices, policies, and procedures are enforced and audited.
  • We need knowledge of SDLC and Agile development methods.
  • We need demonstrable skill in unit, requirements, user, load, functional, performance, and regression testing.
  • We need strong workload management skills and the ability to stay organized under competing priorities.
  • We need working-level customer service skills and the ability to maintain positive client relationships.
  • We need knowledge of business and management principles, including planning, resource allocation, leadership, production methods, and coordination.
  • We need research and problem-solving skills to collect, synthesize, and evaluate information.
  • We need experience with systems security, application operations, infrastructure, performance, and systems integration.
  • We need technical consulting skills to provide long-term strategic and change management support.
  • We need at least 1 year of entry-level Salesforce developer experience or equivalent.
  • A bachelors degree in data science, information technology, web development, computer science, or a related field is preferred.
  • We prefer 3 or more years of experience with the Salesforce product suite, including Sales, Service, and Experience Clouds.
  • We prefer 3 or more years of experience with Salesforce development tools and languages such as Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, SOQL/SOSL, and Omniscript.
  • We prefer knowledge of cloud architecture and recent development experience with PaaS, SaaS, and IaaS.
  • We prefer a current Salesforce Developer Certification.
  • We prefer recent experience building Salesforce Lightning applications.
  • We prefer experience with VS Code, Git, and the Salesforce SFDX deployment lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
  • We design detailed, secure, efficient application architectures for complex software systems and databases.
  • We build accessible, user-friendly, and secure web interfaces, including architecture, coding, unit testing, functional testing, system testing, and implementation.
  • We write code to improve logging, reporting, and security across COTS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions.
  • We optimize custom and packaged solutions, including query performance and data models for Power BI.
  • We develop custom ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data into Salesforce and related interfaces.
  • We verify code migration and implementation, including review of commercial off-the-shelf systems.
  • We coordinate with vendors, application administrators, and technical staff on integration, logging, reporting, security, upgrades, enhancements, and patches.
  • We analyze system issues and provide support for failures ranging from small to complex information systems.
  • We architect reusable application components, APIs, and web services.
  • We review and approve peer code changes before they move into testing and production.
  • We plan, document, and implement application enhancements, fixes, and new components.
  • We use cloud ETL services to integrate COTS, SaaS, and PaaS platforms.
  • We maintain system documentation and security/coding standards, including technical specs, release notes, support plans, project plans, implementation plans, system diagrams, job documentation, batch schedules, contingency plans, issue papers, and QA reports.
  • We stay current on emerging technologies, certifications, job-related training, and relevant statutory or policy changes.
  • We provide cross-training to team members.
