Schedule + Availability: This part-time role works about 22-28 hours per week. Schedule is flexible but would need to have some working hours each day of the week Monday-Friday during normal business hours.
Your daily objective: You will utilize your bookkeeping experience and accounting software acumen to tackle the company's day-to-day financial tasks. You'll work alongside the finance team, and will carry the responsibility for cash reconciliation, accounts payable, and expense reporting, which includes...
- Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying and recording accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Accounts receivable: invoicing new customers, and new customer setup.
- Weekly cash reconciliations.
- Collaborate with Staff Accountant and Accounting Manager.
- Process Sage Expense Reports.
What we're looking for: - High school diploma.
- at least 2 years of bookkeeping experience.
- Excellent communication skills, wirtten and verbal.
- Attention to detail and accuracy of work.
- Preferred experience with Quickbooks, Voyager, Excel, Google Sheets and Gmail.
