Supporting day-to-day accounting operations, the fully remote Temporary Staff Accountant will focus on payment application, account reconciliations, revenue recognition, and month-end close while collaborating with various teams. Key responsibilities Reconcile and record payments from various sources and research aged unidentified receipts Perform month-end close activities, including accruals and revenue recognition entries Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve transaction and reconciliation issues and communicate payment-related information Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting 3+ years of progressive accounting experience; 5+ years preferred for Senior Accountant-level candidates Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close processes Experience with accounting or ERP systems; NetSuite experience preferred Proficient in researching and resolving complex accounting transactions
