Remote Bookkeeper

Insight Global is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Remote Bookkeeper to support a growing masonry construction company based in the Grand Junction, Colorado area. This individual will serve as a key member of the accounting team, helping maintain accurate financial records, manage accounting processes, and support day-to-day business operations. The ideal candidate is proactive, professional, and possesses strong critical thinking and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the accounting team with daily bookkeeping and financial administration activities
• Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial transactions
• Assist with invoice processing, payment tracking, and collections efforts
• Organize and manage financial documentation and records
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Monitor project-related expenses and assist with job cost tracking
• Prepare financial reports and spreadsheets as requested by leadership
• Coordinate and help manage accounting-related projects and initiatives
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting best practices
• Communicate professionally with internal teams, vendors, and customers
