POSITION SUMMARY

Tends laundering machines to clean hotel linens, bedspreads, bathroom towels, cleaning rags, etc.

Hiring for Part Time 8:00am - 4:00pm. The shifts will include weekends and holidays.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Collects, receives and segregates, counts, and records number of items of soiled linen and uniforms for repair or laundry and places in appropriate containers.
• Sort, count, and mark clean linens and store them in linen closets.
• Examines laundered items to ensure cleanliness and serviceability.
• Must thoroughly understand the PECR Bloodborne Pathogen Procedures and be able to perform the cleaning duties as it pertains to Bloodborne Pathogens according to established regulations and procedures.
• Stamps items with identifying marks.
• Responsible for loading and unloading washers and dryers; folds linens to the specific specifications of PECR company standards.
• Responsible for alerting EVS Manager if there is a problem in the laundry room, i.e., error code on washer or dryer.
• All other duties as assigned.

Education: None

Experience: None

Certifications & Licenses: Must pass State and Federal background check and a pre-employment drug screening ( which does test for THC).
Key Cash handling Gaming License.
