Job Title: Laundry Attendant Job Description
The Laundry Attendant plays a vital role in keeping the hospital operating smoothly by handling bulk laundry and ensuring clean linens are available throughout the facility. This position focuses on lifting, sorting, and transporting clean and soiled linens using commercial linen equipment and inventory carts, while maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Work EnvironmentThis role is based in a climate-controlled hospital setting, providing a comfortable indoor environment throughout the year. Laundry Attendants work around commercial linen equipment, inventory carts, and heavy linen carts, frequently moving through hospital corridors and service areas. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with rotating weekends and occasional overtime, and work may extend until at least 5:00 p.m. when the hospital is busy to ensure all laundry tasks are completed. The position involves continuous standing, walking, lifting, and pushing, in a fast-paced environment where maintaining cleanliness and organization is essential.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $14.00 - $16.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
