Position: Air Traffic Controller – AI Trainer

Type: Permanent Position

Compensation: $59 – $98/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: Full-time

Role Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage air traffic control operations in compliance with aviation regulatory standards to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow.
• Collaborate remotely with teams to develop high-quality training data for AI-driven aviation systems.
• Design and curate realistic and edge‑case air traffic scenarios to strengthen AI system learning and robustness.
• Validate and analyze AI‑generated outputs, providing feedback to improve operational accuracy and performance.
• Teach aviation-related courses, develop syllabi, and conduct instructional sessions supporting knowledge transfer.
• Evaluate and grade learner assessments while providing constructive performance feedback.
• Mentor junior team members and promote continuous professional development within teams.

Requirements

• Proven professional experience in air traffic control operations with strong knowledge of aviation regulations and compliance.
• Demonstrated analytical thinking skills and experience designing complex operational scenarios.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills suitable for remote collaboration and instruction.
• Familiarity with AI training data development, validation, or quality assurance processes.
• Ability to adapt to evolving operational technologies and requirements.
• Experience mentoring, training, or teaching in operational or technical environments.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage operational and instructional responsibilities.
• Experience teaching aviation or technical courses is advantageous.
• Knowledge of AI applications within aviation or airspace management is preferred.
• Advanced ATC certifications or continued professional training are a plus.
